Franz Ferdinand on the march

Archdukes of all things angular Franz Ferdinand are set to delight provincial fans with news of a low key summer tour calling at the likes of Hull, Bath and Yeovil. The trip will see the Scottish popsters call at a series of relatively intimate venues, before they upscale to headline slots at Latitude and Connect festivals later in the summer.
Alex Kapranos and the boys are likely to test put some of the new material from their forthcoming third album, which they are currently finishing off with Hot Chip producer Dan Carey.
