Farm Lounging News - Lounge on the Farm, 11-13th July 2008, Kent
By: Dan Monsell

Times aren't bad are they? The sun is shining, and if you walk for ten minutes in any direction on a weekend, it's almost a near certainty that you'll end up at some kind of music festival. Credit crunch? Pah. We'll deal with that in the autumn; this summer's for the living.
Just to remind us why, Kent's Lounge on the Farm festival is just one more event in the coming months that's got us smiling into the summer skies. Taking place on the 11th, 12th and 13th July, LOTF boasts the likes of Mystery Jets, Art Brut and headlining, those Glam rocking proto-punks, New York Dolls.
There's also a fine gaggle of talent otherwise: Holy Fuck, the Coral, Art Brut and that lovely Johnny Flynn chappy complete a rather excellent little line-up. What's more it boasts to be "Kent's bestest festival", with local food, a fancy dress them revolving around the phrase 'pull the udder' (hmm...), bands playing in cow sheds and all other kinds of fun, so why the hell wouldn't you go? We hear there's still a few tickets left. Rollup here.
