Rockfeedback’s love for Lovebox - Fest Hits London This Weekend

We're so ruddy excited about this weekend's Lovebox Festival we may burst our glitter encrusted panties. Oh yes, the festival master minds behind Lovebox (i.e. Groove Armada, The Barfly and The Great Escape) are back with an even more scolding line up than last year.
It was as if the Sunday Guardian had created its very own fetish party... Genuinely deserving headliners (Groove Armada, Manu Chao, Flaming Lips and Goldfrapp) a joyful selection of indisputably good dance acts (Secret Sundaze, The Nextmen, Herve, Trojan Records Soundystem, DJ Mehdi etc) and one blissfully accessible and can we even get away with saying 'aesthetically pleasing' location in Victoria Park?
Hoo-rah! The only thing can make this better, is the dabbling of 'hot young bright things' (not many of which are young at all, but all rather bright!), think Cage The Elephant, Ladyhawke, Mr Hudson & The Library (yes their first show this year and what will be the first airing of material off their anticipated 2nd album), Lethal Bizzle, Natty and The Dandy Warhols.
No tent. No mud. No three day old bacon baps and no overpriced ticket entry. We salute you Lovebox.
