Plastic Factory returns to London on Aug 15th - with Rockfeedback on the decks

Rockfeedback has been trying to think of a decent DJ name for ages, but our two favourites (DJ Vinyl Richie and DJ Carl Cocks) have already been taken. Lilas of Transgressive fame/beauty suggested from across the office the title of "DJ Famine", which might work (it at least makes us giggle), but for the minute, we're down for the next Plastic Factory night as Rockfeebdack DJs, and that suits us fine. We are what we are.
And what we are is actually quite honoured to be selected to spin tunes at one of the finest new alt-indie nights in the capitol, in the shape of Plastic Factory. You might have seen the twosome behind the night, Pristine Christine and Cranky Frankie, treating you to a delectable mix of Les Savy Fav and Captain Beefheart over the course of a few Rockfeedback nights at various venues now, that mix of the best of the new and the most inarguable of the old nicely surmising what it is these nights are about. Check out Plastic Factory's MySpace, Flickr Profile and Facebook group sharpish.
What Rockfeedback's infamous DJ set full of All Tomorrow's Parties meets Dad dancing at a wedding classics will sound like alongside their choice cuts is anyone's guess, but even if we completely blow, there's always entertainment from the fantastically named An Experiment On A Bird In The Air Pump to get excited about, along with lucky dips, face paint and a game of musical statues. Which is probably what will happen when Rockfeedback starts spinning records anyway.
Our quest to see just how many rooms in London we can play Prince's 'Sexy MF' in continues at The Horse And Groom on Curtain Road in terrifying Shoreditch, London, on Friday the 15th of August, in the year of our Lord 2008, from 8pm til late. Rockfeedback hereby deems all other things to do in London that night utter rubbish.
