Red Bull Bedroom Jam returns w/ The Dykeenies

The Red Bull Bedroom Jam has kicked into action for its third season of gigs showcasing some of the best new musical talent live on the internet. Starting the season on 18th September were Glasgow's The Dykeenies [pictured above], who performed their infectious blend of indie power pop live from one of their very own bedrooms. Bedrooms! Just like what you and I have!
The exclusive online gig came as part of the continual line up of Red Bull Bedroom Jam gigs. So far, the series has played host to gigs from You Me At Six, Furthest Drive Home, Lynchpin Area 15 and The Press amongst other formidable upstarts.
If you think you can do better than any of their bedroom-based fumblings, the most interesting part is that anyone aged nineteen years or younger, playing any genre of music they like, can upload their own content as well as discovering new talent and rating their performances. The Bedroom Jam's panel of experts regularly choose one band to perform and broadcast a gig from their bedroom LIVE via webcast - pretty good, seeing as each performance gets an average of 2000 viewers.
