InMusic festival, Croatia, announces Kraftwerk, N.E.R.D, Franz, Lily Allen... Anthrax?!

INmusic

On the 25th of June, Croatians celebrate their independence from Yugoslavia. Some do this by going to the pub, some with a family meal, but the really cool ones go to INmusic festival (which starts the day before on the 24th), and we suggest you do too.

We're starting to go festival crazy here at Rockfeedback, and INmusic is no exception. Formerly called VipINmusic, this is the fourth season of Croatia's offering to the international music festival scene, and with 40+ artists spread over 5 sunny stages it looks to be quite the party. We're gonna go over and film the thing for Rockfeedback TV. Just you watch.

Acts already confirmed include the incredible N*E*R*D, Franz Ferdinand, Art Brut, Kraftwerk and Moby, and in former years the line ups have featured Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Iggy Pop, The Prodigy, Hot Chip and Sons and Daughters. This is perhaps the only festival where you'll get to see Lily Allen and Anthrax on the same bill.

And if that's not enough for you, you get to pack your swimming trunks because it's held on an island on a lake in the middle of Zagreb, making the camping part almost as fun as the going-to-watch-bands part (not that we would ever condone doing anything as stupid as, say, getting sloshed and floating around a lake on an inflatable dinosaur in the brilliant sunshine - really, don't do that).

Tickets include camping and all the gubbins that goes with it. They are also dirt cheap by UK standards, especially if you book early, as they are priced on a sliding scale depending on when you buy them, ranging from €55 until the May 1st to €75 on the day.

You can buy the tickets online, y'know. Link? HERE. They're not yet on sale, although they should be pretty soon. We'll let you know when we know.
