News from O2: Placebo announce massive O2 date

For many of the Rockfeedback team, Placebo's self titled debut album arrived at just the right time in our lives - when we were beginning to realise that music was the be all and end all of all human endeavour. Giving it a nostalgic listen recently, it stood up surprisingly well alongside classics from the period like Dookie and Pinkerton - as such, it's nice to see the boys ascend to the really big leagues with a recently announced date at the O2 Arena in London on the 9th December '09. A show in support of forthcoming, sixth record Battle of the Sun, it promises to be a particularly celebratory affair.
