News from O2: Muse to play O2 Arena in November

By: Thomas Hannan

Muse

When it comes to histrionic rock and roll, in a lineage that includes the likes of Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, Muse are pretty much the biggest band in the world right now. Praise be then that much like Zep and Floyd, Muse are actually pretty good. Live, especially, they're continually astounding, so much so that barely a year after selling out two nights at Wembley Stadium (the first band to ever do so), they've announced their next London gigs - none other than a pair of nights at the mammoth O2 Arena. It seems they deem anything below 20,000 capacity 'toilet circuit' these days.

So Devon's finest sons (other than a few members of the Rockfeedback team) will head to North Greenwich on the 12th and 13th of November 2009 - expect tracks from the as yet unnamed new album, a blinding light show, dangerous pyrotechnics, ambition.

Muse are playing at the O2 in November. Remember if you're on O2 you can get Priority Tickets to other great gigs like this up to 48 hours before. Click here to register. Terms apply.
