Things just got a bit exciting. We're pleased to announce that Foals will be stopping in on July 1st for a special intimate festival warm-up Rockfeedback show.
FOALS - Arguably one of the most innovative, original and special new acts to come out of the UK in recent years, Foals are indeed, a very special band, and their new album (due out next year on our sister label Transgressive) currently in production will surely cement their position as an important, devotional bunch. It's shaping upto be a memorable one-off that also excitingly promises new material, for the lucky few who get tickets - we're pretty sure that we don't need to tell you, but be quick on tickets for this one. Supports have been hand-picked by Foals, and will be London quartet The Invisible, and Iranian five-piece Font.
THE INVISIBLE
We've already had the fantastic Invisible down for a Rockfeedback show this year, but Foals are big fans too, with the band supporting them on some recent arena shows too. The trio have been widely touted as the UK's answer to TV on the Radio, and the likes of Zane Lowe, Foals and Hot Chip have already been quick to announce themselves as fans. FONT
Font are a five piece Indie band formed in Tehran Capital of the Iranian Islamic Republic. It was in August 1st 2007 when the band made the history in Iran's music history by managing an underground rock concert with some other bands in Karaj ( Tehran Suburb ). Ofcourse things like that happen rarely in a country such as Iran. Nearly 600 people gathered around. From regular teenagers to other musicians, actors, students and so on, It was the first world class Open-Air Concert after irans 1979 revolution. Doors were crashed by the Iranian Police. Nearly 250 people were arrested that day accused of attending a "satanic" party and disrupting moralities. All the band members were sentenced to prison for 21 days.
