So here goes - the first rockfeedback blog. It's going to be messy. Whilst the intelligent of you are off watching the football (who's winning? This is the first match I've missed, and it's getting to me - get in touch and let me know, running commentary appreciated), I'm in our lovely new office in Holloway - bizarrely the only pleasantly cold place in an otherwise swelteringly hot London. Marvellous for the summer, but it'll suck in the winter I'm sure. Mind you, everything sucks in the winter.
Running the site these past few weeks has been a great experience, sharing an office with the Transgressive boys and generally getting things back on their feet again. The return of rockfeedback feels to me like having an old friend back again. Hopefully it's the same for you lot too. Loads of new features, some already up (gig of the week, these blogs for example), and more on their way. I know, I know, we always say there's stuff 'on the way'. But we've always delivered (even if it's taken us ages), and this new promise of things to come is made with as much conviction. Oh, if you only knew!
Hopefully you can use these blogs as a way to get to know your favourite writers on a more informal level (go to 'the score' section, see who you think's prettiest). They'll be encouraged to post all kind of nonsense on here - this is just a hello from me, who you'll be hearing a lot more from (apologies) - hopefully with more interesting things to say, in a less rambling, increasingly coherent fashion.
PLEASE say hello - click my name, give us an email, or there's that horrid myspace thing down there somewhere - we can be best friends, or something.
Come on England????? Meh. I wish I was from Argentina.
