Why is this worthy of my time and money?: Right, one's got the African thing, the cartoon band of megastars and the new supergroup with Paul Simonon from The Clash. The other's prancing around with Betty Boo singing songs about Wigwams that may or may not be really rather rude. And as for the third one, well he buggered off ages ago to do his own 'ting. Time for Dave Rowntree to get a side project! That doesn't involve his pilot's license! The Ailerons are an alternative pop act (check their MySpace, below, for some tunes) with Dave bashing the drums and some seductive lovelies up front (if you like that sort of thing). What's it like? Well, bar those few tunes on their 'Space, nobody really knows. Birmingham's about to find out.
