Why is this worthy of my time and money?: Because these lads have been taking a self enforced break before their upcoming appearances at the Carling Weekend Reading and Leeds festivals, and this pair of shows (there's one in Bristol the night before, too) sees their long anticipated return to the live circuit. It's a chance to catch them in their own environment before the shoddy sound and dodgy lights of the festival's new bands tent has a chance to dim their impact. And what an impact it can be: rock, roll, rave and revolution all vying for space in chaotic three minute pop songs in which neither you nor, one suspects, the band themselves, know exactly what's about to happen next.
