Why is this worthy of my time and money?: There are as many reasons to go see Broken Social Scene live as there are members of the band - thousands of 'em. Many of these are contained on their most recent, self titled LP. Now, Broken Social Scene fans are a bunch that tends to get very strongly attached to things they find brilliant, and this was the way with their previous record 'You Forgot It In People'. The strength of their eponymous follow up is that even this difficult to please bunch love the thing as much as they did its precursor, meaning it has to be something sincerely special. Live, they'll even make a record with the ingenious subtlety and deft intelligence of that one sound positively half formed, such is their mastery of spellbinding an audience.
