Rockfeedback Wants You! Demos / Listings Editor Required

As you may have noticed, rockfeedback's had a bit of an overhaul of late, with new articles and features coming in at a rate of knots and our efforts to take over the country's television sets in full swing. However, we don't want it to stop there.
Yes, the idea is to make things bigger and better than ever. It's with this in mind that we've created these two new positions, to be filled as soon as possible with budding, fresh talent.
1: DEMOS EDITOR: In the far corner of the rockfeedback office sits something called 'Demo Corner'. It's a substantial pile of hitherto unheard raw talent that gets added to every day, something which we find actually rather sad. It's always been a dream of ours to nurture new talent and review everything we get sent, but due to having to look after other areas of the site this task, with respect to demos at least, has fallen by the wayside somewhat. As such, we seek someone willing to tackle music at this most grass roots of levels, and really get stuck in.
We see this as something of a prestigious position, an opportunity for the one who fills it to become a real 'name' on the scene as a champion of great new bands right from the off. Ideally, a monthly column rounding up the best of 'Demo Corner' is what we have in mind, though we're open to suggestions from pioneering individuals. Apart from that prestige, we'll happily reward the new Demos editor with a regular host of free gigs and CDs to review, and welcome them warmly in to the rockfeedback fold.
Of course, rockfeedback prides itself on the quality of its writing, and the applicant's prose should match the high standard people have come to expect from us. To apply, please introduce yourself via email and send some examples of your work to tom@rockfeedback.com.
2: LISTINGS EDITOR: Another currently neglected part of the site is the once flourishing 'Global Gig Guide' area, our attempt at creating a comprehensive listings service not just for Camden and Soho but around the world. We're looking for an enthusiastic fellow or lass to handle the task of inputting and collating tour dates, one off shows and exciting live developments so our readers know exactly what's going on music wise in their area the Earth over.
As well as having first pick of what shows to personally attend and critique, the rockfeedback listings editor would too be rewarded with a position as a general staff writer for the site, documenting key upcoming record releases and being presented with the opportunity to meet and question some key talent in the flesh. As with the demos editor, we only require something with a true talent for writing, and anyone who thinks they fit the bill should get in touch with tom@rockfeedback.com to say hello and supply examples of their work.
Of course, we're always on the lookout for great new writing talent in all areas of the site, and anyone interested in becoming part of the cosy team can apply via the form HERE.
