Why is this worthy of my time and money?: Because everything about the Shins just seems bigger and better nowadays, what with the sound having developed a gloriously meaty shimmer to every note and there being a new fellow helping them out on guitars and keys. They're on form - really, that tickets are still on sale for this one is baffling, what with the popularity of the band since the release (on our own sister label, Transgressive Records, no less - we still have no idea how we landed that one!) of their newest, greatest record 'Wincing The Night Away'. These shows promise to have a celebratory feel to them that no other gig this year will rival. Look at them, they can't wait.
