Why is this worthy of my time and money?: Natasha Khan creates beautifully peculiar and hauntingly fantastical songs in the rich vein of Bjork, Kate Bush, Tori Amos and Cat Power. Note how despite sharing common ground, none of those artists actually sound particularly like the others. Natasha, aka Bat For Lashes, seemingly knows how important that its, being as she is influenced by each of those fine musicians and yet in possession of something unique to herself also. Live, if it's half as sensual and atmospheric as it is on record (and we've heard tell it is), it'll be very very sensual and atmospheric indeed.
