Why is this worthy of my time and money?: Because James Murphy's about to make you dance to the beat of a different drum. Of course, we suspect there will be the hits, ('Daft Punk Is Playing At My House', 'Losing My Edge', 'Disco Infiltrator') and we expect them to blow the roof off the place. But we're lucky in that we've heard 'Sound of Silver', the band's upcoming sophomore effort, and we know quite what a forward thinking, seductive, hugely tuneful piece of work it is. That it's the best thing Murphy's ever been involved with is not in doubt. That at an LCD Soundsystem concert you will struggle to have anything other than the time of your life is similarly not in question.
