Why is this worthy of my time and money?: Well, whereas once what was cool about seeing !!! live was that they started with completely improvised jams and got lost in their own songs to the point that they could often last for what seemed like blissful hours (yeah, that and the fact that you couldn't tell your mates which band you were going to see because their name was nigh on unpronounceable), the album 'Myth Takes' and the few shows they offered a week or so back to tempt us in to buying it suggest that now, !!! are a more streamlined beast - no messing, all dancing, no self indulgence, all funky escapades all the time. What with them having just released their best album to date, there hasn't ever been a better time to catch a band who, when on stage, seem to be suggesting that nobody has ever had fun quite like they have fun.
