Why is this worthy of my time and money?: In this day and age where people are arguing about things like whether the Arctic Monkeys will ever better their debut, imagine what it'd be like if you'd just released your three millionth record (that's what the Melvins are up to now, seriously) and your fan base was genuinely willing to believe that, despite a back catalogue containing some solid gold classics, it might actually be your best one yet... That's what happened when the Melvins dropped '(A) Senile Animal' last year- one of their most rewarding full lengths to date - a record which features for the first time the dual-drum antics of both long time Melvin Dale Crover and Coady Willis of Big Business (who drum symmetrically on one giant kit in a way which has to be seen to be believed), as well as other Big Businessman Jared Warren taking up bass whilst the inimitable King Buzzo stands up front, his hair moving as if independent from his head, singing directly in to your soul...
