Why is this worthy of my time and money?: All the signs seem to point to greatness with Boris - they're named after the first track on the Melvins' unsurpassably heavy 'Bullhead' LP, they've recorded a collaborative LP with sludge giants Sunn O))) (ranked #10 in Rockfeedback's albums of 2006, no less, and reviewed here), and they seem to release a new record every other week. But far from just looking good on paper and sounding great on their elaborately packaged records, the monolithic ear pummelling that your lobes will receive upon coming in to contact with their sound live will have you giving praise for the brilliance of Boris and their music to some dark lord or other in the most rapturous of manners.
