Why is this worthy of my time and money?: Put a Dead Meadow record on, and such is its impenetrably thick collection of creepy atmospherics and riffs larger than buildings that you may as well write off the rest of your day - y'aint going to be able to function as a useful human being. Go to a Dead Meadow gig, and you'll probably have to call in to work the next morning telling them you're done for the week. Actually, it might be worth ringing them just before the show. Lord knows you won't be in a state to indulge in any kind of conversation afterwards.
