Why is this worthy of my time and money?: Despite having been around for a good few albums now, Dirty Projectors are certainly one of our discoveries of the year. Yeah, we were slow off the mark, but how come you didn't tell us about them, eh? This whole thing works both ways, y'know... anyhow, now that we're up to date, we implore you to attend what will easily be one of your shows of the year and marvel about how music can sound this ramshackle and this tight simultaneously, this inventive and yet this melodic. You'll be entranced by their stares, you'll be enchanted by their calypso-punk tunes, you'll be very lucky if you get a ticket for that London show with Caribou next week.
