Why is this worthy of my time and money?: Autechre are now on their ninth album (Quaristice is due out next week, as ever, on Warp Records), but due to only having their picture taken roughly twice in the past decade or so (the above admittedly shoddy pic is as good as we could find), hardly anyone knows what they look like. Remedy this by going to see them live, and you'll also find yourself in the presence of something far more important than anything visual - some of the most visceral, considered and inventive electronica active today.
