Rockfeedback @ The Great Escape
By: Thomas Hannan

Rockfeedback and beloved sister label Transgressive Records have officially had it with the city. It's lovely outside, or it would be, if we weren't in a sprawling urban metropolis. So we're relocating for a few days to get our heads together, breathe some fresh air, take a dip in the ocean. We're going to Brighton for the Great Escape festival.
Why? Because the strongest line up of the festival's short but illustrious history has been assembled, with Iron and Wine, Vampire Weekend, Cadence Weapon, The Futureheads and Lightspeed Champion among the big names to have been ensnared, and the likes of Sunset Rubdown, Yeasayer, Fanfarlo, Esser and Bon Iver ensuring the fest isn't short on startling new talent either.
We'll have a piece of that, thought Rockfeedback and Transsexual Records (tee hee) when the line up was being assembled. So we got together with The Great Escape dudes and nabbed us a venue for the jaunt, namely the Sallis Benney Theatre on the Grand Parade. A beautiful place, all seated, here's what you can catch there over the Friday and Saturday...
FRIDAY 16th - TRANSGRESSIVE DAY
YOUNG KNIVES
JEREMY WARMSLEY
OX.EAGLE.LION.MAN.
JOHNNY FLYNN
SATURDAY 17th - ROCKFEEDBACK DAY
LAURA MARLING
NOAH AND THE WHALE
JAY JAY PISTOLET
MUMFORD AND SONS
We're all about ridiculously strong line ups for our gigs at the minute, had you noticed?
Tickets, bafflingly, are still available either as three day passes or for individual days. Click HERE for them. Rockfeedback will be spending the day time sat on Brighton beach, in unnecessarily revealing swimming trunks, debating whether to brave the sea or not. Join us.
