Why is this worthy of my time and money?: We first came across Bon Iver supporting our much beloved Jens Lekman (review HERE), and though the band's restrained, confessional stylings were about as far removed from Jens' delightfully brash and humorous yarns as you could get, we were still smitten all the same. A record (For Emma: Forever Ago - review HERE) housing songs born of exorcising demons in solitary spells in log cabins in the middle of the snowiest of winters, Bon Iver live is fleshed out to a full band capable of making you think what's flowing through your veins whilst listening to them might not be blood after all, rather it could be pure, heartbreaking melody.
