Why is this worthy of my time and money?: After Rockfeedback headed along to the second of these My Bloody Valentine reunion dates at the Roundhouse last night, the resulting tinnitus has only just subsided. There was a fun moment where we had a C# in one ear and an E flat in the other for a bit. Crazy. What hasn't stopped however is the shaking of every organ in our torso, tooth in our mouth or limb on our body. What's so fascinating about My Bloody Valentine live is that they don't so much exceed expectations by being totally amazing when you thought they'd pretty amazing anyway, but that they do things that you don't even expect human beings to be capable of doing. You have never heard anything like this sound, and My Bloody Valentine, however much you think of them, are in concert actually ten times the band you thought they were. Expect a full review imminently, but in the meantime, purchase every last ticket for these shows and doll them out to anyone you've ever met.
