Why is this worthy of my time and money?: With such a feast for the ears lined up every evening for just over two weeks and tickets costing a mere £7 for regional dates and £8.50 for London dates (all available HERE), the Transgressive Hot Summer Tour 2008 is definitely NOT to be missed. We know. We're organising the bloody thing..

As the name suggests, the tour only includes acts which are affiliated with our dear, beautiful sister of a label, Transgressive Records, which makes for a diverse and interesting evening whatever date you see. Honest, pal.

On the tour, Transgressive proudly present their our old favourites Jeremy Warmsley and Absentee along with Esser, Liam Finn, So So Modern and Ox.Lion.Eagle.Man, fresh new signings set for big things. Huge things. MAMMOTH things.

With such a range of sounds for one's listening pleasure and plenty to delight all senses, one can be sure of a diverse audience and an equally good time. Supposedly, the tour can be treated as a mini music festival, but this one's better - this one goes places. It comes to you. It's considerably cheaper. And, there is not a speck of mud to found in any of the lovely intimate venues on the list.

Well, maybe one or two.
