Why is this worthy of my time and money?: Leading lights on what they're calling the "US West Coast psychedelic revival" (what?), and fresh from wowing Rockfeedback at a recent London 100 Club show, San Fran duo the Dodos have announced a new single and schedule of UK dates for September, kicking off this week.
'Fools' is another slab of musical majesty from the band's rather super duper debut album Visiter, released in July this year. As always with the band, it sounds much larger than a couple of guys knocking out tribal sounding percussion, frenetically strumming guitars and harmonizing rather beautifully. Yes, these two make some lovely noise.
