Why is this worthy of my time and money?: Though on the radar since the heady, pre-recession days of 2006 when everyone was loaded and poured money on to their cornflakes (or at least that's how I remember it), it's taken the lazy sods Dananananaykroyd until now to release their debut LP Hey Everyone. Perhaps they've just been waiting until the public at large had figured out to pronounce their name? It still tickles us after all this time, but it's not the only thing to enjoy about this frantic, two drummer-boasting Scottish behemoth of a band. If you imagine Los Campesinos revelling in being pissed off with everything as opposed to how wonderful a world full of bunnies and kittens and meadows and pot pourri would be, you're halfway there, but to get the full picture, you're going to have to check it out for yourselves.
*Bit of an extended 'tour of the week', you'll notice, due to our SXSW backlog. Can't complain, mind.
