Why is this worthy of my time and money?: What, you mean you don't want to see that beard, in the flesh? Perhaps the only thing more manly than Jarv's facial hair these days is his ridiculously beefy new record Further Complications, an LP produced by none other than Steve Albini at Electrical Audio Studios in Chicago. It's largely devoid of the pop nous of the Pulp days, yet replaces the glitz and glamour with sufficient vigour and vitriol to both terrify and entertain all in earshot. One of the finest front-men of his generation, regardless of which band it is he's fronting, we've only one worry - how on earth is he going to get a drum sound live that's big enough to replicate that on the LP? Mammoth...
