Midlake - Van Occupanther (Bella Union)

Not even halfway through our visual exploration of Midlake's 'The Trials of Van Occupanther' and already there have been some delights. No change in that respect with the vid to this near title track, either. Here's what Midlake's own Eric Pulido had to say about it:
"This video was really a gift from David to us that we are forever grateful for. We met David (or Peen, as we know him) working on the 'Young Bride' video in San Francisco. David had done the animated storyboard for 'Young Bride' and we were all floored by how amazing it looked. When we knew that we wanted an animated video for Van Occupanther, I humbly asked David for his assistance. He graciously accepted and created this beautiful video in less than two weeks for less than not enough money. It is really cool to see the story come to life and have playing during the live show".
