ROCKFEEDBACK IN ASSOCIATION WITH KRUGER MAGAZINE PRESENTS:
CYMBALS EAT GUITARS: London headline show from this justly heralded up-and-coming New York band. Their highly original, open-hearted, wide-eyed but deeply introspective brand of indie-rock has seen rave reviews for their remarkably wave-inducing debut album, out earlier this year. With shades of shoegaze and technicolor-tinged pop it's no surprise that the band have attracted praise from Brooklyn hipsters, tastemakers sites like Pitchfork and titans of indie-rock such as The Flaming Lips, for whom they'll be opening after this greatly anticipated tour of the UK.
TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB
Frenetic new-wave electronica infused indie-pop from this Northern Irish trio (soon to be a quartet with the addition of a real live drummer!). Good pals of ours, and soon to be yours, these chaps are new signings to our sister label Transgressive's publishing arm, and are set to be the first full LP release on French tastemaker label Kitsune. Recently dazzling as support to Foals, and on our Transgressive/Rockfeedback stage at Leeds, they stop in here for a special Rockfeedback show appearance.
NORTH ATLANTIC OSCILLATION
These Scottish newbies are stopping in here as touring buddies for the duration of the Cymbals Eat Guitars for the UK slog. This being the first date, things could well be awkward and tense, but after a few drinks we'll see what happens. Some fresh new things this lot, NAO make heart-on-sleeve electronic dream-pop with strong nods to Flaming Lips, Caribou and Stereolab

The gig takes place at The Lexington, 96-98 Pentonville Road, London, N1 9JB on the 12th of November 2009, with doors opening at 8pm. Tickets are available for £7.50 advance.
