Here's the second of our Rockfeedback Christmas shows, and very excitingly, it's on a (docked) boat. We all know the Thames is very lovely indeed around Christmas time, so here's a folk-filled extravaganza down on the water. Se to be a proper hoedown, we've got three amazing acts plus Chess Club, Rockfeedback and more DJs on hand to make you move your feet after a headline set from the wonderful Peggy Sue, alongside an appearance from some SECRET special guests from across the Atlantic playing a special acoustic set. Lips are sealed but make sure you're there for what's set to be a very special night indeed!

PEGGY SUE - Delightful Brighton trio Peggy Sue are one of the country's best folk-pop acts.  Comparisons to the current trend of folk bands hitting the charts are inevitable, if a little inaccurate, as their songs can occasionally inhabit the darker melodic penumbra cast by singers like Cat Power and Regina Spektor at their best.  They’ve recently been off spreading their sunshine on the less deserving shores of the U.S., and are only playing a few gigs back in London, this one-off being one of them.  We had them feature on our stage at this year’s Great Escape festival in Brighton, and here they finish a wonderful year on our boat, sure to make a big splash indeed.

CURLY HAIR - Another trio here, and also from Brighton by way of London, lo-fi popsters Curly Hair have been picking up fans rapidly of recent times for their endearing Moldy Peaches meets Beat Happening infected new wave anti-folk. You can currently catch them traversing the UK on tour with Malcolm Middleton (previously of Arab Strap)

TRISTRAM - New London troubadour backed by drums, cello and other manners of strings, Tristram makes self-proclaimed "lullabies for uncertain times".  Embracing the alt-country stylings of Will Oldham and Jeffrey Lewis, and a very British type of creative singer-songwriters in the vein of Nick Drake, Tristram is a new artist on the brink of big things.

Plus DJ sets from Chess Club, our always spectacular old buddy Goldierocks, and the Rockfeedback dream team.  We're going to be on a boat until 1am.

The vessel in question is Tamesis Dock boat, Albert Embankment, Vauxhall, London, SE1 7TP, between Vauxhall Bridge and Lambeth.  Vauxhall's probably the best transport option, otherwise take a leisurely stroll just past the London Eye.

Tickets are a paltry £7, and should be snapped up here - http://www.wegottickets.com/event/64281. Be quick now as this is a SMALL docked boat, and we're expecting it to sell out sharpish.
