THREE TRAPPED TIGERS - Combining intricate glitched-up live electronica with intense math-rock, plus Mogwai-esque penchants for textual soundscape build-ups, London's Three Trapped Tigers are a highly original act who stand-out within a burgeoning UK experimental scene. Three hugely talented musicians from widely ranging backgrounds, as TTT they come together as one futuristic explosion of sound, pushing the boundaries of new music. April 2010 sees the release of EP3, and this will be a special launch gig to celebrate.

“Twinkles and booms like a star being born, this feels like being hugged by a computerized god. this'll make fans of Lightning Bolt, Battles and Aphex Twin cream themselves” NME
“It sounds like the end of music as you know it and the beginning of something dazzlingly fresh” Clash
“Is the machine half-man or the man half-machine? … One of the most exciting UK bands to emerge in 2009” BBC Music
TALONS - An instrumental group numbering six, Talons combine post-rock builds, fractured song structures, math-rock complexities (full of mouth dropping drum patterns) and the explosive nature of hardcore to great effect. Both urgent and soothing in equal measures, the addition of the violin to the more conventional band structure takes their epic musical climaxes to even higher peaks. Released by celebrated DIY indie Big Scary Monsters, Talons have been given great support by the likes of Huw Stephens and numerous established luminaries such as 65 Days of Static, Rolo Tomassi, Three Trapped Tigers and more, all whom who have invited them to tour with them. http://www.myspace.com/gotalons

SAMUEL CHASE - Formerly known as Samuel and The Dragon, Samuel Chase is a London based artist recently released on Moshi Moshi who makes beautiful, haunting hymns of songs over a glitchy, apocalyptic-sounding backdrop of electronic sounds and rhythms. The effect of innovative Portishead style hardware sounds combining with the slo-core pop-anthems-in-waiting that's at the heart of the songs is both oddly disorientating and thrilling in equal measures. It calls to mind both the sombre beauty (and visual identiy also present in the live shows) of Japan, and soulful figity electronica pioneer Cornileus. http://www.myspace.com/samuelchasemusic

Additionally the fantastic BECOMING REAL will be coming down to DJ.
