Following on from one of our most sweaty and packed sold out shows in recent memory in Spring this year, the wonderful TORO Y MOI returns here for a date at London's Cargo this October, before heading off on tour regionally with our pals Foals. Get your tickets quick!
Toro Y Moi is 23 year old Columbia, South Carolina native and resident Chaz Bundick. Starting in 2001 as a bedroom project, Bundwick quickly grew into the live performance realm. The songs are born from a plethora of different genres, from freak-folk to R&B to French House with melodic ambient samples swirling around Chaz’s cleverly arranged pop song structures. Hazy summer sounds and equal parts perfectly crafted lo fi pop gem; 60s style pop meets 21st century lo fi; not dissimilar to Ariel Pink jamming with Motown's finest. Set to release a full two LPs in 2010 (the first of which was released to much acclaim in the States in Feb), Bundwick's project has been widely celebrated by everyone from Gorrilla Vs Bear, NME, Pitchfork and beyond. Regarded at what has been heralded as a burgeoning Chillwave movement, Bundwick still sees himself as a singer-songwriter, just one that uses a multitude of effects and samples. Chaz is joined live by a backing band and this sees an eagerly anticipated London date off the back off his sell-out debut in the Spring of this year.

New London duo Visions Of Trees have been turning heads a-plenty with their spaced-out sci-fi pop, and we here at Rockfeedback have become staunch fans following on from appearances as both support to Neon Indian and at the Rockfeedback 10th anniversary. A recent US EP release and tour with Memory House and other high profile support slots with the likes of Bear In Heaven under their belts, Visions of Trees' songs push beautiful melody through washes of sprawling electronics. Reminscent of everything from Kraftwerk to High Places, with a distant Bronski Beat reference here or there, these two are very much at the fore of a crop of new-wave electronica infused pop acts to grab attention into 2011.

We've long been fan of now London-based experimental popsters Munch Munch, and upon hearing their newest James Rutledge produced material we found ourselves in a new state of excitement. With an album out on London indie titans Upset the Rhythem due, we're excited for the world to get to know this hugely creative group of individuals.
Three lads and a lady from Bristol who are the missing link between Broken Social Scene and the power-pop stylings of early Weezer, you know, when they were good… It’s the charged rumbling chords of their synth’s, turned up to 11, combined with their rambling vocals that seem to suggest they’re having the biggest party in the world… and YOU’RE invited.
