We’re proud to announce that New Zealand's Liam Finn will be showcasing material for us from his forthcoming second album on Transgressive Records, at Hoxton Bar & Kitchen on 21st April. Appearing for the first time in the UK with a full five-piece band, this one’s not to be missed, tickets go on sale Friday 25th March at 9am.

Following his rapturously received SXSW appearances last week, Liam Finn announces an intimate London show to play new material from his upcoming second album 'FOMO'. The show at Hoxton Bar & Grill on April 21st promises an opportunity to hear new and old material, as well as an unveiling in the UK of the a full band live set-up. Liam Finn's debut album 'I'll be Lightning' was released in 2008 to universal acclaim, and came coupled with appearances on 'Later With Jools Holland' and 'David Letterman'. A relentless two year world tour followed, with Liam sharing stages with the likes of The Black Keys, Wilco and Pearl Jam.
'A proper wild-eyed oddball of a man (in a good way), Finn writes irresistible songs that hum with riotous melodic invention.' The Guardian

Mechanical Bride, AKA 25 year old songwriter and self-taught musician Lauren Doss grew up with her mother working as a professional singer performing with bands all over the world during the 1970s and early 80s. Making music has always been a way to escape for Lauren and the tracks on Living With Ants make up a patchwork of tales and fables and, much like the haunted fairy tales on Part II, the new album is rooted in escapism and fantasy.
