2019 with RFB: Sega Bodega

17 Dec 2018

We continue our look ahead to 2019 with a profile of London producer and performer Sega Bodega

With the end of the year fast approaching, our sights are firmly set on 2019. We're spending the last few days of the year looking ahead at some of the new artists and shows we're most looking forward to in the new year and today we're focussing on Sega Bodega.

WHO: Sega Bodega is an electronic music producer and performer.

WHERE: London

WHAT: One of electronic music’s most innovative characters, Sega Bodega has spent 2018 creating self*care, a multi-disciplinary project that crosses over artforms and genre. The next evolution of the project sees him performing live at Hoxton Hall in February 2019.

WHY: Drawing critical acclaim from the likes of i-D, FACT and NTS, Sega Bodega's music is "Heavy, abrasive and deconstructed to the point of falling apart, it was, readers, an unqualified racket. We loved every second." For this live show, he will be collaborating with Shaun Murphy (show designer for TNGHT, Lorenzo Senni, Lanark Artefax, Bicep and more) and we're incredibly excited to see the results.
