Crowning Ceremony: Sunflower Bean’s Bid For 2016’s Most Exciting New Band In Pics

Anyone with ears will know that twisted New York trio Sunflower Bean are one of the best bands to emerge from the US or indeed anywhere in ages. They flit between gnarly, wired riffs and lilting, psych-tinged aural balms like it's the easiest thing in the world, they look cool as hell (fashion guru Hedi Slimane's already given them the nod) and they've just released an early contender for 2016's best debut in 'Human Ceremony'.

Last night the group returned to London for a celebratory lap round The Dome, with support from RFB fave Oscar and grunge newbies Fish, and delivered the kind of blistering set that should justifiably knock them up a level into a Proper Big Deal. Here's how it went down, in pictures.
