Tell us a story:
We're touring with Alan Prater at the moment. He's an incredible singer and a funky trombone player. He played with The Jacksons (in Michael's Off the Wall era) and bands like Cameo in the 80's. We met him in a very small village in the country. He was playing at a tiny bar after one of our show with his band The Brooks. When we first heard him singing, our jaw dropped. The five of us lifted him in bodysurf and he quickly became a good friend. We're very honored to have him on tour.
It was in Sherbrooke, our hometown. We were teenagers, digging experimental jazz music and we had the great idea to include a friend with a commedia dell'arte mask in the middle of the stage. He was smoking chicha, pure hippy genius stuff, just a little scary though
If you could support anyone on tour, who would it be?
We just started working with Xray booking in UK with the secret ambition of opening for Gorillaz and/or Anderson .Paak.
Recommend us a book:
Henry Miller, Tropic of Cancer or I Would Die 4 You, Prince's biography written by Touré.
Conquer the world I guess?
