GANG - Silverback (listen)

16 Jan 2015

Brand new and revved up slice from GANG

Superb craft and energy pierce through in this gnarled new single from Brighton's GANG. The slamming opening salvo is met with a thought provoking steady stomp, pinned back verse and moaning from singer Eric Tormey, his voice dripping with feeling. The track unravels raucously, as if Tame Impala's 'Elephant' has been caught by poachers and is now ready for the black market. A blood lust ivory garage-rock classic. The ragged but assured nature of these songs means GANG arrive as kings in the court of their own dingy basement.

'Silverback' will be the the lead single for a new cassette release from Margate's Sexx Tapes on January 30th. The Limited Edition tape will also feature the moody and uneasy 'Not a Reason' as well as Theo Verney's own version of 'Silverback'. Get it quick. You don't wanna miss this.
