Event #2 of the Spotify, Guardian and Rockfeedback Concerts presentation features an intimate pairing of two musical titans - Gruff Rhys and Josh T Pearson, at The Lexington, London

Three organizations all committed to promoting the best in music past and current - Spotify, The Guardian and Rockfeedback Concerts - have come together again to co-present the second in a series of Spotify Live gigs, all taking place at a venue widely acknowledged to be one of the best new spaces for the London music scene, The Lexington in Islington.

The second part of four special launch events taking place before Christmas, Spotify Live London's next gig takes place on Wednesday 30th November, and sees a special opportunity to catch a unique pairing of two modern musical greats sharing one bill - GRUFF RHYS and JOSH T PEARSON.

Not content with merely fronting The Super Furry Animals and his recent Mercury Prize-nominated side project Neon Neon, Gruff Rhys has had a fantastic 2011, releasing his highly praised and thoroughly heartwarming third solo album Hotel Shampoo, winner of the inaugural Welsh music prize. He finishes the year in momentous style as ever, with a collaboration with Turner Prize nominee Phil Collins and a December release of a special Anti-Xmas EP, full of "Turkey-free new tracks for the festive season". This is a remarkably close-quartered opportunity to see Gruff in London following his recent Shepherd Bush Empire appearance.

Capping off a double bill of classic originality and talent, Texan Josh T Pearson caps off an equally special year with the release of his first solo record Last of The Country Gentlemen, recently given the impressive accolade of "album of the year' by the Major independent retailer Rough Trade. Always an engaging live presence, this show will follow a headline appearance at London’s prestigious Barbican Centre, capping off a rapturously received UK tour.

Tickets for the show are free and can be obtained by RSVP lists and competitions hosted by each of the partners. Those wishing to gain access can win tickets at the and websites, whilst Spotify Premium Account holders are also able to RSVP to to win entry, and claim a free drink on the night.

In addition to this, a strictly limited allocation of entry will be made available for those wishing to try their luck on the night on a first-come first-served basis, allowing those who missed out earlier the chance to still potentially attend.

Competitions open today, and all successful applicants will receive a confirmation email on Tuesday morning if successful in their bid to win entry. All competitions close on Monday at midnight.

Performances at each show will also be captured on film and will be available up on the Guardian, Spotify and Rockfeedback websites and social media after each gig, featuring exclusive interviews with each of the acts performing.
