Watch the green screened new flick for Happyness' song 'Anything I Do Is All Right'

Last week indie-rockers Happyness released “You Come To Kill Me?!” from their forthcoming Anything I Do Is Alright EP. Now the EP’s title track which also appeared on the their debut EP, Weird Little Birthday, has a video that dramatizes the south London trio’s tongue in cheek lyrics of tales of sex and sickness in the suburbs. The video sees the band performing nonchalantly in front of a green screen using bones as instruments; and includes morph suits with wigs and hotdogs and bubbles... The end result is the band’s un-phased attitude and serious facial expressions, combined with visually random insincerity; matching their effortless switch between fuzzy pop and desolate ballad sound. The comical exposure of the techniques that are meant to be undetectable in creating seamless video magic demonstrates the bands more prankster side, proving they don’t take themselves too seriously. Watch below.

Happyness play at Electrowerkz on 14th October. Buy tickets here.
