InMe - ‘Neptune’ (Music For Nations)

30 Dec 2003

4th 45 to be lifted from 'overgrown eden' lp; release - '03.

Wherever Essex trio InMe have managed to get a hold of such a consistently pop-savvy potion - one that will see them score yet another respectable singles chart-entry for the fourth time already - may be a mystery, but - presumably for the kids - it's altogether a package fast becoming one tough to resist.

No shock here then that 'Neptune' is more of before - growling riffs that scuff and drag along the pavement before bumping into frontman Dave MacPherson's grisly-bear roar and a meaty, radio-friendly chorus. Couple these with a flashy video, and you've got yourselves yet another hit... How come it seems so formulaic..? Because it is.
