The TDE crew bring the heat with their recently-aired BET cypher, which utilises the  intimidating and stone cold beat from Mobb Deep's 1995 staple 'Shook Ones (Pt. II)', a vicious statement of intent from rap's rising brat pack. Unsurprisingly, it's Kendrick, the group's de-facto ringleader, who delivers the hardest, most insult-laden bars, something that's been trumped up in the press since this session was recorded just over a month ago.

His supposedly Drake-baiting (or is it aimed at Papoose?) line is a particular stand-out: "Nothing's been the same since they dropped 'Control' / And tucked a sensitive rapper back in his pyjama clothes". Regardless of whether or not he's trying to start some beef with his only real competition in terms of album sales or success, Kendrick is sure as hell convincing when he delivers the following indictment: "Hold up, wait a minute/Your career ain't shit 'less you got some Kendrick in it".

You can watch the cypher below; it features verses from Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock (not to be confused with J Rocc), Ab Soul, Isaiah Rashad and Kendrick Lamar. TDE's newest signee SZA, who put out the excellent 'Teen Spirit' video recently, unfortunately doesn't contribute, despite her notable presence on set.
