Four Tet played guest host for Roska on Rinse the other day and used his time to drop a reworking of Grimes track 'Skin', a highlight of her 2012 record Visions. As you can imagine, the results are nothing short of exceptional but Hebden was quick to play down any talk of further collaborative work or even allowing listeners to get it twisted and go as far as call his edit a remix:
"It's just some track I made the other day using a loop from her record... no remix going on or anything."
Don't let his humble chat fool you, this is way more than just some track and goes to show that Four Tet is standing strong as ever as one of the most inventive and impressive electronic artists around.
