We were going to right a New Idea’s column on T.Williams today, we try and hold fire on them until we come across a really special artist, don’t get us wrong Williams certainly is that artist, we just couldn’t justify it as the man has already had such an illustrious career. However, it’s this release, on the genius PMR records, (Bashmore, Ware, McCarthy, TIP) that is set to catapult him into the kind of crossover artists we can all get truly excited about. ‘Think Of You’ premiered last night on Annie Mac’s show and exhibits a slightly different sound from the producer who started life as member of grime crew Black Ops before knocking out a series of ace 12’s on all your favourite dance labels – in particular Night Slugs where he teamed up with L-Vis 1990 which explains the PMR connection. Still, this change of pace has only served in making us more excited about the London based producer than ever and is the start of what we hope is a long relationship with PMR.
