Lucky Jim - 'Lesbia''Lesbia'. OK, get it out, laugh away. There, there.

Unsurprisingly from the Brighton duo Lucky Jim, we're quite won over; stark, settling and matching the grace possible amidst a duet between Super Furry Animals and Devendra Banhart, this piano-drenched and acoustic/strings slumber is more comforting than eternal sleep.

Backing the package - Cohen's 'Hallelujah', of course made that much more legendary via Jeff Buckley's compelling rendition, and the equally sumptuous 'Somewhere Up Ahead'. It's intense stuff. Whoever said earnest purism stripped of misogyny and leather jackets lacked balls?
