"Raw, snarling and unabashedly in-your-face" - DIY Magazine
Having now kicked off their autumn run of UK/EU dates with an appearance at Iceland's Airwaves Festival followed by shows with Protomartyr across the continent, Chicago's Meat Wave are proud to present 'Cosmic Zoo' as the latest single taken from their second full-length album, Delusion Moon (out now on SideOneDummy), as well as debuting a brand new b-side, 'Symmy'.
A blistering master class in abrasive post-punk made to feel poppy, 'Cosmic Zoo' is the kind of get-in-your-head-and-stay-there hit that propelled bands like Cloud Nothings, FIDLAR and Japandroids to worldwide success.

'Symmy', meanwhile, rolls along with all the pent-up, yet refined, urgency of the Wipers - who Meat Wave covered with such effect on this year's Brother EP. Speaking of the track, the band say: "Symmy was recorded during the Delusion Moon session. It was a really new song so we just kind of went for it. It's about the Phoenix Lights in the 90s, when a bunch of people saw a really huge UFO above the city and the governor played it off like nothing happened. Look it up!"
