NEW MUSIC: Cosmo Sheldrake - Wriggle

12 Feb 2018

a cosmic triumph...

Cosmo Sheldrake shares new track, now accompanied by a colourful and action packed video!

"'Wriggle' is the last song I wrote for the album. It emerged a couple of weeks before I started the mixing process. Among other sounds, it incorporates Japanese koto drums, marching band percussion, a nightingale from Kent and a host of woodwind instruments including a contra bassoon — one of the lowest instrument in the orchestra. It is a song about celebrating life in the hope that it was one well lived."

Cosmo also spoke of the video: "In the video for Wriggle, we follow a bird as she introduces us to three separate systems and their daily tasks and habits. Sunflowers dance, ships brave the frothing seas, fish glug past volcanic vents, a scraggly bird gets eaten by a sea monster and galleons with netherworldly banditos dance and sing."

'The Much Much How How and I' is out 6 April.
