Father John Misty is back, releasing an EP in support of CARE Action & Ground Game LA!
Father John Misty has released his latest EP, “Anthem +3” on 3 July. The 4 track EP consists of a new cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Anthem”, and three additional covers recorded over the past few years. The previously recorded tracks consist of songs by Leonard Cohen, Link Wray and Yusuf / Cat Stevens. Father John Misty’s rendition of Cohen's "One of us Cannot Be Wrong” features a 25 piece band including drummer James Gadson and has been remixed for this release.
The EP was released on Bandcamp in support of the websites fee-free sales day for artists. Proceeds from the EP will support CARE Action and Ground Game LA, with release on all DSP’s on the 14 July.
